The Freestyle Pilot stunt kite dvd delivers. It starts with the fundamentals including launching your kite as well as re-launching a grounded dual line stunt kite. When I first got the dvd I had no idea this was even possible. Previously I had always just done the walk of shame not realizing there was another way.
Then the dvd moves on to explain as well as demonstrate the importance of the stall manuver. Being able to stall your stunt kite at will allows you to transition into other tricks and is an important part of many stunt kite tricks. Then a variety of stunt kite tricks are introduced.
The cheapest stunt kite online store as far as ordering a copy of the Freestyle Pilot dvd that I have found so far is Wind Power Sports. Corey is selling copies of the dvd for $12. This is less than half the price that Amazon has the Freestyle Pilot stunt kite dvd listed for. At time of writing their price is $29.
To be honest, even the price of $29 for a copy of the Prism dvd is worth paying. Particularly if you are new to stunt kite flying and like me don't know any more advanced kite flyers nearby. Getting help from friends may be an even better way to learn about stunt kite flying. In my current situation though, I am learning most from simply getting out and practicing with my Prism Nexus stunt kite. Then when I have time at home I watch youtube clips like Corey Jenesen's kite chi video as well as spend time watching/studying the Prism Freestyle Pilot stunt kite instructional dvd.
I haven't watched any other stunt kite dvds so don't know how good the Prism dvd is compared to other offerings. At the moment though I am in no hurry to purchase any more stunt kite tutorial dvds. Freestyle Pilot is enough for me just now. With each viewing I pick up something new to try the next time I am out flying my kite.

Power kite dvds are an excellent source of information as well. As far as trick kites go though the Prism dvd is my favorite. I discovered an even cheaper online kite store to buy it from.
