Stunt kite flying
Flying stunt kites is a really exciting hobby. I keep mine in my car and as I often have some free-time during the day, like to bust out the stunt kite and let fly! The only issue is the unreliable wind and the effect this has on my kite. Of course, getting my kite chi on at the weekend is a must. That's when I have more time to go further afield and find better locations.
Stunt Kite Flying is a site all about my love for kites. Dual line kites are my ticket and that's mainly what I write about. My how to guides discuss various aspects of kite flying, from kite assembly to being a safe flyer. The plan is to write about a variety of stunt kite flying tips. At present I am still learning myself. However as I progress as a flyer I hope to be able to provide advice for people taking up the sport.
Currently living in Japan there is an abundance of quality coastal spots where I can fly. There is also the yearly Hamamatsu Kite Festival which is an amazing spectacle.
Another amazing feature of flying stunt kites today is the internet. Being able to connect with kite enthusiasts around the globe means we can gather even more knowledge about a hobby we love. The stunt kite forum that I mainly visit is called Nosediver's stunt kite forum. Some of the most experienced kite flyers from around the world, in particular the U.S. post there. They are very welcoming to new kite flyers.

While searching for good places to fly on my next trip to Australia I discovered the excellent site, My Best Kite, an interesting site born in Adelaide, Australia. It discusses flying tips and has information on the largest kite festival in Australia, amongst many other things.
